November 16, 2007 on 6:23 pm | In Uncategorized | No Comments |On November 15th, the U.S. Supreme Court stayed the execution of Mark Schwab effectively creating a de facto moratorium on the death penalty in the U.S. On that same day, a committee of the United Nations General Assembly introduced and overwhelmingly passed a resolution calling for a worldwide moratorium on the death penalty.
